Phumula Lodge is an ideal holiday venue where one can enjoy many activities all year round.

All ocean activities are only a 25 km drive from Phumula Lodge. 

Take walks on our golden beaches, swim in our warm Indian Ocean and snorkel the shallow rock pools.

Charter a deep sea fishing boat where one can catch Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado and many other species of fish.

If fishing is not your thing, but you still want to get out into the deep blue, there are whale watching facilities which we can gladly book at your convenience (seasonal).

Once you have had enough of all that sand and water one can head into the world renowned Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve. The reserve is located 30km from the lodge.  Here one can view the Big 5 and a vast variety of wildlife and birdlife.  We can arrange a guided tour into the park.

Go golfing... The Monzi and the Umfolozi golf courses are situated within 10 min from Phumula Lodge.

If one is tired of traveling around one can enjoy a day of bass fishing in one of three bass dams located around Phumula Lodge.  Here you have a chance to catch a bass of a lifetime while taking in the fresh air and enjoying a cool refreshment.
